Ida Cox (February 25, 1896 – November 10, 1967) was an African American singer and vaudeville performer, best known for her blues performances and recordings. She was billed as "The Uncrowned Queen of the Blues". Cox was born in February, 1896 as Ida Prather in Toccoa, Habersham County, Georgia, United States (Toccoa was in Habersham County, not yet Stephens County at the time), the daughter of Lamax and Susie (Knight) Prather, and grew up in Cedartown, Georgia, singing in the local African Methodist Church choir.
The Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album was awarded from 1983 to 2011 and from 2017 onwards. Until 1992 the award was known as Best Traditional Blues Performance and was twice awarded to individual tracks rather than albums. The award was discontinued after the 2011 Grammy season in a major overhaul of Grammy categories. From 2012 onwards, the category was merged with the Best Contemporary Blues Album category to form the new Best Blues Album category.
The Blues "White Album". We next get a version of "Revolution" led by Kenny Neal, Lucky Peterson, and Tab Benoit. This is one of the better cuts on the album, with the organ adding a nice texture to the sound. These guys seem to be having fun with the tune, not trying to hit us over the head with it.

Wild women do And they don't regret it Woo! You tell me you want a woman Who's as simple as a flower Well If you want me to act like that You'd better pay me by the hour. Don't want to travel in the danger zone Take another number Don't want a lover who can hold her own Baby, step aside If you don't want to ride Because. Wild women do And they don't regret it Wild women show What they're going through
